Hello & thank you for visiting Body & Home Apothecary!

I’m Miranda - owner, mother, wife, skincare lover, herbalist, and homesteading-wannabe.

Here at Body & Home, you will find non-toxic home essentials, handcrafted soaps, and nourishing skincare formulated with ingredients like grass-fed tallow, emu oil, skin-loving herbs.

I strongly believe in an animal-based, whole food diet - and I think our skincare should follow suit. I care deeply about what we put on our skin and what we use in our home, and I devote a great amount of research, time, and love into each of my formulations. Each item is crafted with what I believe are the highest quality, most nourishing, and safest ingredients available. Every product is small batch and 100% handmade by myself.
I never use toxic preservatives (parabens), dyes, fragrances that contain phthalates, known toxins, or controversial synthetics. My soaps are palm-oil free.

The tallow I render is from small oregon family farms whose cows are happy, healthy, humanely raised with lots of love, and 100% grass-fed, grass-finished, and antibiotic/hormone-free.

In an effort to reduce waste and avoid single-use plastic, I bottle my products in glass containers & ship in recycled cardboard boxes, recycled paper, abd biodegradable packing peanuts made of potato starch. Please repurpose your bottles & jars if you're able to, and recycle the shipping materials appropriately.
If you are interested in a custom formulation, please don't hesitate to ask! I am more than happy to work with you to create a product that fits your needs if I can!

Please kindly keep in mind that Body & Home Apothecary is a very small business ran by ONE woman- this is not Amazon! Every step of the process is done by hand, and most products are made-to-order. I aim to ship orders as quickly as possible, but sometimes it may take up to 14 business days (weekends and holidays are not included in my shipping times). I appreciate your understanding, patience, & continuous support; your business means everything to me!

Love,
Miranda
